The Accounting practice based in central London is looking for a qualified accountant with min of 2 years post qualification experience.

The ideal candidate will be confident in accountancy and have great client facing experience. The ideal candidate must be self motivated, good communicator, excellent team worker and ability to work under pressure. You will be required to manage an office, thus supervisory/managerial experience is essential.

Experience/Skills:

Essential:

• Strong IRIS Practice suite skills IRIS Accounts Production. Business Tax, Personal Tax & Automail.
• Completion of limited company accounts.
• Completion of VAT returns
• Completion of tax returns for Directors of Limited Company
• Completion of corporation tax returns for small companies.
• Corresponding with clients and their advisors.
• Strong inter-personal skills to deal confidently and professionally with clients on the telephone and face-to-face
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to manage workload to meet key deadlines each week/month. Comfortable working on routine tasks.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn, adapt, innovate and take on new challenges as an important part of a growing and developing firm.
• Advanced use of Excel and Word.

Desirable:

• Experience of payroll, including year end returns.
• Experience with HMRC online services.
• Liaising with clients and HMRC regarding tax compliance matters.
• Supervision of junior staff
